  1. Suddenly “But Bacon Tho” Sounds pretty fucking stupid, unless you like
    getting cancer that is.

    • Mr_anonymous_ sub

Protein in honey? You mean the 0.8 grass per severing? Come on and you call
      me uneducated.

What you eat has no benefits and will only kill you in the long run.

“Helps with the flu” don’t you think you should just take a flu vaccine so
you don’t get butt fucked apwith the negativeness in honey?

The only biased person is you.

I answered your pesticide bullshit argument,I said I ate all organic and
that s cow eats 17500lbs of pesticide ridden plants so don’t talk to me.

Another intellectual pwning delivered. Become wretch.

To be fair, I don’t know that you can accurately state that honey doesn’t
yield any health benefits. Apart from all the obvious sugars, minerals and
water are what make up the rest of the composition of honey. For now, we’ll
ignore the *purported* benefits of honey consumption spanning back to
ancient times, as well as the documentation and references from doctors and
philosophers (including some notable ones) from times past.

And we’ll instead focus on a study published in *FASEB* Journal pertaining
to honey’s ability to kill bacteria. The link is a protein called
defensin-1. 5. As a treatment for cough it has actually been studied and
documented as well, by modern science. Now, I almost never eat honey but I
think the extreme stance of not being able to consume honey by some strict
vegans is an emotional and unsubstantiated one. While current studies are
not all conclusive with regard to *all* of the many purported claims about
honey, I know of no evidence suggesting that honey is actually harmful to
anyone’s health apart from infants under the age of 12 months. As for the
harm it supposedly does to bees, they’re insects and we don’t even know if
they feel pain and quite apart from that there are those who may or may not
be in the beekeeping industry, who only use ethical practices when working
      with these insects.

With sugar, as with many things, the poison is in the dose. What do you
consider to be a ‘serving’ of honey?

Now, the sugar in honey is only about thirty percent glucose and less than
forty percent fructose. Honey also contains various other kinds of complex
sugars and a fiber called dextrin, which has associated health benefits.

Naturally-occurring and unprocessed honey is completely additive/chemical
free and contains varying amount of minerals and vitamins.

Tiny arachnids called varroa mites and the use of pesticides are more of a
threat to bees than beekeeping is. ‘Swarm suppression’ is a standard
technique used by many in the beekeeping industry, which is why lumping all
beekeepers including those who practice ‘natural beekeeping’ in together is
disingenuous; the more conscientious and unconventional ones do not employ
      this practice.

The issue with beekeeping is that it has become a manufacturing process. I
personally choose not to support factory farming at all, for a good number
of reasons. I do not see a contribution to pollution and pain economy with
beekeeping that is even remotely comparable to the atrocity that is factory
farming. I mean, why draw the line at not eating honey? Why not become an
      adherent of Jainism?

Bees are harmed in the production of fruits and other crops, in case you
weren’t aware. Now I will grant that it’s an indirect harm, but there it is
      nevertheless.

And you know, when I have consumed honey, it never caused indigestion or
any digestive issue for me at all. Do you have any evidence that there is
      some link there?

  2. Vegan Gains is spot on, as usual. 🙂 Stop eating corpses and animal
    secretions.

    • +Donatello97 agreed on trans fat. fear of sugar is not well founded. sugar
is a nutrient not a drug. it’s also the bodies preferred fuel source.
Agreed refined sugar is less nutritious than sugar found in fruit, but it
is not the enemy people think it is. agreed on point about GMO as well

    • But vegan gains is the biggest prick I’ve ever had the misfortune of coming
      across

    • +irunraw what are you talking about sugar might be just as or wort then
meat. sugar is 1 a mojor cause of diabetes 2 a cause of atherosclerosis.
And have you ever heard of high glycemic food causeing lung cancer.

    • You don’t want to kill animals? Then stop eating all those fruits and
veggies. Farming destroys the natural habitat of many creatures and those
big machines do one hell of a number on poor groundhogs and gophers. Ever
seen one after it’s been torn apart by a harvester? Not even enough left
for a delicious meat-cup. Veggies are murder! Also pesticides and
whatnot….sure they’re great for the environment.

  3. Correlation does not equal causation, and unless all your studies actually
point to x molecule or string of x molecules that directly or indirectly
cause cancer by increasing certain mutations that would cause cancerous
cells to form, and grow or something such as the immune system being
suppressed in anyway then I’m calling complete bullshit.

  4. WHO would’ve known?!

  5. This is not news, news… The new world order is coming. Hail Seitan O:-)

  6. “But I only eat grass-fed, massaged, intergalactic beef.”

Check out this series on the Inuit. Very interesting arguments.

    • +Edmund Burke you might want to catch up on the news since its been on
every day for the past few days that meat and processed meat are linked to
causing cancer. vegans already know that, and lots of other facts that you
don’t hear in the news every day. That’s why we choose to eat as little
meat as possible or preferably none. vegans are very well educated, more
educated than your everyday Joe. Because of our education this is why we
choose to become vegetarian and vegan. meat eaters are stuck in regular
programming from childhood, from advertisements on TV, radio, driving down
the street and looking at restaurants that serve meat. By the way, the
government funds all that stuff, and they get profits when you are sick and
spending thousands of dollars on treatment from meat created health issues
are! so they have brainwashed you to believe that meat is healthy, then
when you are sick, they make lots of profits. That’s our government.

    • +fairy wynne
      What is this? Non-sequitur hour?

  7. Someone please share the news with Furious Pete.

    • +Kevin R. I will be sharing it with my peeps. Gotta spread this info.
Thanks for your contributions to the cause.

    • +sonjevity So glad to hear! I appreciate it!!!

    • +Sugar and Starch Furious Pete is Furiously stupid. He believes everything
his MD tells him. durp!Hope he gets better, but he’s beyond ignorant.

    • +Sugar and Starch “consumption of red meat and processed meat” cause cancer

    • +fairy wynne Yeah so basically alot of things cause cancer. Everyone in my
family up to my great grandfather ate cow, chicken, fish, deer, horse, and
sheep meat. My great grandfather lived 108 years and nobody in my family
has ever gotten cancer even the ones who smoked 2 packs of cigarettes a
day. The ones who smoked got heart attacks.

  8. Sylvanas Windrunner

But Unnatural Vegan says it doesn’t cause cancer so she must be right!

  9. Hard to understand why it took the WHO so long to find out what is already
known. Are they stupid or cowards?

  10. That meat on the grill looks disgusting.
It’s like a corpse. Who am I kidding. it IS a corpse.

    • Vegans gonna hate.

    • +Mexculine1 I believe the implication was that other people did, seeing as
they didn’t refer to themselves and the way it’s structured and following
sentence make the whole thing negative overall.

Anyway, since apparently my comment was deleted or marked as spam, I’ll
just give a tl;dr of one half of it: Steinbiss managed to keep rabbits
alive for as long as 4 months before they died of atherosclerosis on a diet
of nothing but horse meat. This suggests that even if rabbits can’t
“metabolize animal protein,” this doesn’t prevent them from getting
nutrition from animals, and they most likely are metabolizing at least some
      of it.

    • +1000g2g3g4g800999 That explains vegans quite well actually.

  11. Andréas Remis Vegan Lifestyle

Everyone tries to justifies their bad habits with “moderation.”

    • +mai72 your point is one of a mentally deficient moron no people acting
that way about smoking in the old days does not mean the same can be said
for meat you’re using false equivalency to spread your factually incorrect
beliefs “Well if I do it in moderation” is a legitimate claim you have to
eat everything including vegan food in moderation to much or to little of
anything is bad for you whether it be meat or plants or even water “we only
live once” is a choice on whether people think the risk is worth the reward
and has nothing to do with whether meat is bad for us or not “those studies
are false” i don’t believe i say studies are false however i do say studies
are flawed and that is because they are a study that lumps processed meat
and unprocessed meat together to label meat in general as bad for us is in
fact a flawed studyand the evidence points to meat being good for us but
processed meat or burnt overcooked meat as being bad for us which has been
known for years and years it’s not meat that is bad for us but the process
that a lot of meat goes through before we eat it that is bad for us which
the same can be said about many vegan friendly foods as well such as french
fries, french fries are bad for us that does not necessarily mean potatoes
are bad for us but when potatoes are battered and have chemicals added to
them then deep fried in oil then they are bad for us and bread isn’t bad
for us but if you put it into a toaster and burn and blacken it then yes it
is bad for us the evidence points to unprocessed meat such as steak and
deli chicken breast not only not being bad for us in moderation but
actually being good for us also there are studies that say veganism is bad
for us so i guess you agree with those studies? or do you instead think
what they are claiming is false making you a hypocrite for believing in
what you tried to accuse me of doing and making out like it would be a bad
thing if i did it as for “i feel fine so why should i stop” i never once
made this claim and a meat eater ever making this claim does not mean
anything towards your beliefs i am sure plenty of vegans have said the same
saying this line does not mean ones diet is bad

    • Ever heard of “dose makes the poison”? Well the same applies to red and
      processed meat.

    • Ever heard of “dose makes the poison”? Well the same applies to red and
      processed meat.

    • +Dallas Molleda

A poison is a poison.. Period. BUT, your body might be able to work around
1 poison better than 2 poison, so you are better of with 1 poison, but the
‘moderation’ doesn’t turn the poison into non-poison, it just makes the
negative response & effect less, but it will be there.

And for the people saying, “but you can overdose on water without
moderation too”, understand that water is not a poison naturally & an
overdose of water doesn’t turn it into a poison, it just deludes your body
too much. *The substance is the same..* Why don’t you people understand
this? These 2 scenarios are not the same at all..

  12. The Vegan Activist

    Loving the greenscreen.

  13. I’m not a vegan, but I fucking love this channel.

  14. I might try out being a vegetarian kinda influenced by vegan gains haha

  15. The WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION just said meat causes cancer……and there
are STILL people trying to deny it…..

What’s up? Can’t live without your bacon sandwiches? Are you that WEAK
    MINDED?

    • +DominicanPlatano your legendary bacon is just tasteless meat that they
INJECT WITH SALT using a machine. You’re talking about a sodium addiction,
      combined with your raw stupidity.

    • +Mark Kempton Ⓥ if its tasteless then why there is no vegan bacon that
      tastes just as good?

    • +Mark Kempton Ⓥ Bet you didn’t know what “ad hominem” meant until VG used
it in every second video. Do you know what “Hypocrite” means ?

    • Sir, why will they inspect salt with machines into bacon, that’s just
stupid all it makes it just more expensive to produce, I can tell that
bacon doesn’t have added salt since last summer me and my family went into
my grandfathers farm and I chose a pig to eat, and we ate the natural just
      KILLED bacon.

  16. Hey Richard, just want to say I’ve been here since around 686
subscribers(before the Happy Healthy Vegan Shoutout). I don’t know if you
remember or not, but one of my questions was in a Q&A on Feb 22, 2015 (it
was “what are your thoughts on the starch solution) . Just want to say keep
up the work, and it’s going to be insane when you hit 100k. Watch out
    Arnold.

  17. You didn’t tell me, should I keep making some vegan gains still or nah?

  18. yeah ok im enjoying my home cooked home killed rabbit stew want any i have
