  1. Its ok, I only eat brown meat, take that medium rare people! :3

  2. How has no one realized, fucking everything causes cancer to a certain
    extent

  3. Everything causes cancer. This comment section, the internet, and this
    channel.

  4. Red Meat
Fried Chicken isn’t red meat, right?
Cus if that’s true, I’m truly dead.

  5. Why do I get the feeling a vegetarian came to this conclusion?

    • +cobrakingofeart I think you are confusing people with cats, who are
obligate carnivores. They need a protein that comes specifically from meat.
Humans can get their protein from any source and can eat fully raw fruit
heavy diets and still function fine. (I wouldn’t recommend it, though,
      unless you REALLY like fruit).

    • +pmthecat What “evil agenda” are you talking about? Convincing people to
eat more spinach? Plus, science can change. We are still babystepping
through nutrition. Things accepted as fact 50 years ago in the scientific
community can change over time based on better, more in depth studies with
resources and technology that didn’t use to exist. The media is what blows
things out of proportion or severely gets it wrong. That, and marketing by
the food industry, NOT W.H.O. And once crazy health nutjobs (and overly
paranoid people) get ahold of the information and make a bunch of
pseudoscience claims that buries the real facts, all hope is lost for the
      average person.

    • ThinkOne MoreTime

Do you think the modern human in the future will grow and eat animals, like
      pigs/dog/cow? I think not!

    • +Marcus Alm I am actually glad you brought that up i would suggest you
check out those pills or tablets you use to supplement what your losing in
meat … because the sad truth is that most of them are made using meat >.>
you don’t have to believe me on that one just look it up yourself ^^

    • +Dartinin I’m not talking about pills, and the only pills I take are
fish-oil (and even those only when my mother won’t shut up).
(I’m not vegetarian btw, don’t know if that was unclear.)

  6. correlation doesn’t equal causation. these are all correlation based
    studies

  7. I got a sausage for you Meg 🌚

  8. I would die for Bacon, therefore, I will allow Bacon to kill me

  9. So do cigarettes but you don’t see people stop buying them. People will
carry on not caring if these meats are cancer causing.

  10. I’ll probably not remember this next time I have an awesome steak. You get
one life. I’d rather enjoy it eating bacon and have the possibility of
dying early. Then be miserable eating super healthy and living for a long
    time. Pass the bacon!

    • +M.N.I.K You can do both by eating tasty things in moderation. Just saying,
having bacon/BBQ once a week will also make it taste better in the long run
and be healthier than having it every day.

    • +DenzaMan Moderation??? what does that mean… there is no such thing with
      meat.

  11. Lol I’m calling bullshit

    • +sam locke Well your entire argument hinged on calling me an idiot for
using the word “bro.” So complaining about my grammar whilst littering your
angry diatribe with grammatical errors seemed a bit hypocritical. And a
counter argument requires an argument to begin with. Your ad hominems and
complaining and assumptions on my beliefs doesn’t amount to an argument in
my mind, nor do I have any interest in having one with anyone who thinks
      that it does haha

    • +Ryan Smith your not worth the energy to reply to you anymore so this is
the last one, good luck with your ignorance and denial. I heard of a group
you might like they are called the amish

    • +sam locke Sounds like you’re very sound in your beliefs if you’re so
willing to walk away in a huff. Good to hear though, the adults can resume
talking now that angry babby’s gone

  12. If you spend your life trying to avoid cancer, you’ll just be sitting in a
corner eating gruel. I’ll eat what I want and if I die, so be it.

    • +Ted E Bear I’m not disagreeing on that. I’m just saying the kneejerk
reaction people have to being told something like bacon is more than likely
bad for your health is because its so ingrained in American diets

    • +RJ M Every thing causes cancer to a certain degree. If you don’t get
enough meat, ur body will have a higher risk of develop cancer later in
life according to a study in 2011. In 20-30 years they’l have a cure for
      cancer so don’t worry!

    • +Top 10s that research sounds made up

  13. red meat is as cancerous as lead? I’m not buying it.

    • +barbossa black Where is this said? Processed meats are categorised based
on the strength of the evidence supporting the link, not based on the
likelihood of causing cancer. E.g. Processed meats are category 1
carcinogens now, beside plutonium, but that is just because they
*definitely* cause an increased risk of cancer, not because they both do so
      to the same extent.

    • +ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
      oh, derp.

    • +barbossa black Specifically red meat that was not marinated, or was over
      cooked. Medium Rare FTW

    • +VaultBorn
ooh goody, I can keep eating burgers.

    • For some reason it causes the cells in ur colon to become damaged including
      the dna

  14. a new holiday that is scarier than halloween : the day we found out bacon
    kills.

  15. New study: Being alive causes cancer.

  16. That’s still a significantly small chance of getting cancer, also you know
what else can cause cancer, the fucking sun, you don’t see me avoiding that
    at all cost.

    • I think the point here is to eat meat in moderation, not in excess. The
chance for colorectal cancer jumps by 18% for every 50 g of proccesed meat
eaten EACH DAY. If you’re eating meat 7 days out of the week, these numbers
are significant; as for those who eat meat every once in awhile, this
      shouldn’t matter.

    • +Frank Dunn Ya but that’s like 18 percent of like .001 percent, I’m willing
      to take those odds.

    • +Frank Dunn I’m eating this kind of sausages
      http://www.reteteusoare.ro/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/20090913221836-610×300.jpg
everyday 😐 And I was eating them for quite a long time. What are my
      chances for cancer?

    • +Vady That would fall under processed meat too, but honestly, I wouldn’t
dread over it. As opposed to the 800k+ that died of cancer (in the US) last
year, only about 34,000 deaths have been accurately found to be caused by
diets high in processed meat. This is one of those cases where if you think
you should be worried, you should probably be.

  17. This study sponsored by Vegans….

    • +TheRarePepe >writes an entire essay
      >”you wrote a so long paragraph”

      Irony is funny

    • +TheRarePepe I’m waiting for a source. Or for you to at least type
something concise. No one’s gonna take the time to read a book written by a
guy who’s username is “the rare pepe.”

    • +TheRarePepe As a wrestler, allow me my 2 cents on the matter.

The real issue with becoming vegetarian or cutting down on meats is that
there are very few plant based foods that provide the correct proteins to
make human being function, much less do serious physical activity. Not to
mention, breads and grains, while easy to farm and mass produce for
consumption, are not all that good for you.

People are meant to eat meat and I believe that’s what I am supposed to
eat. Although I do believe that most farming methods of domesticated
animals are somewhat inhumane, it is meant to be sanitary and prevent
disease and I appreciate not dying of disease.

People in the first world real have no concept of how good meat is for you
and how unhealthy being a vegetarian really is. We have canines and our
front teeth for a reason, it is to rip flesh and tear muscles to eat. the
molars are for plants. We are meant to eat both. Attempting to tell another
human being that they should eat one way or another is not YOUR call. it is
there own and somewhat the call of experts and doctors.

This went on longer than I intended but I’ll put out there that I am not
interested in an argument and am muting this post. I just figured I would
      throw my opinion out there.

    • +TehGoldylockz Amen brotha

    • +TehGoldylockz Let me preface this by saying I am a raw vegan (who doesn’t
      eat bread or grains)
Now then, I think people should eat what ever their heart desires, you want
to eat a steak? Go ahead! A head of lettuce? Have at it! After all it’s our
decision what we eat. So I have nothing against the omnivores of this
world, but i would like to defend plant based foods real quick. You said

“The real issue with becoming vegetarian or cutting down on meats is that
there are very few plant based foods that provide the correct proteins
to make human being function, much less do serious physical activity.
Not to mention, breads and grains, while easy to farm and mass produce
for consumption, are not all that good for you”

Which just isn’t true! For example Buckwheat (a fruit seed not a grain),
Chia seed, and Hemp seed are all plant foods that can be consumed raw and
contain all the essential amino acids. Then there is also Quinoa if cooking
is involved, and these aren’t even touching on the myriad of food combos
that can be made to obtain proper amounts of protein with all the essential
      amino acids covered.

Anyways, I’m not trying to convert anyone because I really don’t care what
others eat, it’s their choice and I totally respect that. I’m just trying
to say any diet whether it be restrictive or completely unrestricted can be
healthy or life threatening. It’s really what you make of it.

….so ya, please don’t be hating on us herbivores. 🙂
